Seriously! This place is absolutely amazing! My Boyfriend and I went in this 4th of July weekend and ordered two panini's. I had a chicken fajita and he had an Italian. They were fantastic. We walked in after buying two marshmellow guns and were running around having the time of our lives shooting each other all over OOB. The guys who work behind the counter are awesome! They are so much fun! You just don't find that very much anymore at restaurants! I had no idea that this place existed and being a seasonal renter for 6 months out of the year at OOB..this is our definite new place to go. They have tons of Gelato and the most amazing desserts. We had one chocolate chip cookie and it was so yummy! I can't wait to go back next week! Just for the service alone they deserve more than 5 stars!

Came here for dinner since every other place around here has fried food. We figured that this place would be the best spot since they have a sandwich station. The place was empty so we walked out because we assumed that it was no good. After reading the Yelp reviews we ran back in immediately to see the hype. We ordered the Smoked Turkey panini and the bbq chicken panini. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT was most deff worth the turnaround.

Better late than never. Went here over the summer and loved it. They have good real food if you're looking for something NOT FRIED. Yummy salad, backed haddock and rice, loads of desserts to pick from. Small tables but perfect to sit and eat a meal inside. Nothing fancy but I really liked it and will be back. People are friendly and service is fast and the place is clean.

This was my everyday stop for coffee during my week in OOB, I couldn't find any other place in the area for decent espresso drinks. Starbucks it ain't, but the espresso drinks were acceptable and it saved me from having to resort to crummy Dunkin Donuts coffee. They also serve gelato (their Rocky Road was my favorite), pastries, cakes, and pies (their Maine Mud and Grand Slam pies were rich & delicious). Avoid the fudge - you can get better at Candy Shores around the corner.

Simone and I have been going to the Dolce Crema Caffe for a few years. It is the perfect spot right off from the pier to grab a quick sandwich(panini style or not), a salad or even a hot entree. Finish your meal with some unbelievable fresh made dessert or perfectly home made refreshing gelatto. I have never tried the coffee creations or had breakfast here but I imagine it to be great as well. The other thing I really like about this cafe is that its really clean, the ingredients are fresh and I don't feel like I'm rolling the dice for my life when I eat here. The same cannot be said for most places along the pier or in downtown Old Orchard. Service is counter service, but they will bring the food to your table when its done if you are dining in. Simone and I had our food to go so we could eat it picnic style on the beach. I had a Smokey Turkey Panini with crispy Bacon, melted provolone and Chipotle Sauce, and Simone had a BBQ Chicken Panini with melted Cheese and Caramelized Onions. While we waited for our sandwich the cashier was more then happy to offer us all the free samples of Gelato that we wanted. As a matter of fact she was insistent about it. I love that kind of place...free samples with a smile can't be beat. And the Gelato is absolutely some of the best I have ever had anywhere. Although we didn't have any for lunch we went back about 4 hours later to finish our day with a couple orders of it. My sandwich was excellent. What made it great was the sauce...a little sweet and a little smokey, it had a kick but not overpowering heat and was perfect with the Bacon and Turkey. Simones sandwich was pretty good also although I felt it had to many onions and the sauce was a little sweet for my taste. She liked it so i suppose it doesn't matter what I thought. The sandwiches also come with a bag of chips to much on. I would recommend The Dolce Crema Caffe to anybody looking to get away from the greasy pizza and soggy fries at so many of the places on the beach. If your not in the mood for sandwiches then you must at least go for that Gelato or one of the delicious desserts. They are the best in OOB. 4 stars.
